Help the PNC by Volunteering!

Volunteers are especially needed for the Fall Fun Festival on October 10, 2009. Volunteers are extremely important to this event and will be needed to make this day a success. If you are interested in set-up or clean-up, food service, craft activities, greeting or ticket sales please contact kwikel@wi.rr.com.

The Pringle Nature Center is in need of volunteers at its facility in Bristol Woods County Park. Various possibilities exist depending on your interests and skills.  Immediate assistance is needed with:

  • Staff the center from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sundays, half-day slots are available.

  • Help with school programs on Saturday mornings and afternoons.

  • Work on marketing, public relations, membership, grant writing and fundraising projects.

  • Other programs and events as found necessary.

  • Work on prairie restoration, invasive removal, etc. within the county park.

  • If you have an idea for a program or a specific area in which you would like to contribute, please contact us and we will be happy to coordinate a special project with you

If you would like to volunteer please contact the nature center during normal weekend hours at 262-857-8008. You can also fill out our Volunteer Interest Form (Word Document or PDF Document) and submit it by emailing it to Kay Wikel at kwikel@wi.rr.com or by mailing it to the Pringle Nature Center address (9800 160th Avenue, Bristol, WI 53104).
