Summer Solstice Hike

Junior Naturalist Camp: Water We Here For?
Tuesday, June 22nd to Friday, June 25th, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
A water exploration camp for children entering third, fourth, and fifth grade. We will do tests that real scientists do and try to catch some pond critters. Be prepared to get wet and muddy! Leave No Child Inside: NWF Great American Backyard Campout
Saturday, June 26th/27th, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Pitch your tent at Pringle Nature Center as we provide a memorable experience of what it's like to sleep out under the stars and listening to the sounds of the night. Bring your own food to cook over the fire or have hot dogs with us. We'll enjoy calling owls, s'mores, and a campfire. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a wholesome family program. Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages will be allowed. Registration is required! Call or e-mail the nature center to register - space is limited!

We will explore the different ecosystem's in the park and discover what animals live there. Find stuff that will gross people out. Registration is required! Perseids Meteor Shower Viewing

The Perseids is one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 60 meteors per hour at their peak on the night of the 12th through the morning of the 13th. Are you interested in nature and would love to share that curiosity with the next generation? Pringle Nature Center is offering training sessions for the classes we offer to school groups. Come learn about the wonderful world of bats - how they use echolocation and how bats eat insects and not people!
